Ole Spanish Restaurant is a beloved spot that has been serving up Mediterranean cuisine and tapas for 25 years. The restaurant is currently celebrating its anniversary by offering a special brunch menu featuring popular dishes like Spanish Iberico ham with tomato bread, sizzling tiger prawns, Grilled Spanish Octopus with ratte potato, and more. Guests can also enjoy live music while dining, adding to the vibrant atmosphere.
Exquisite establishment that has been well loved for decades. Ambience and decor were rustic traditional, yet pragmatic. Size of the restaurant was cozy yet conducive to privacy.Food was authentic and seasoned to perfection. Spices well balanced and service temperature perfect. The staff manner was excellent and service was rapid.Suited for any event, casual to formal. No dress code but you feel comfortable with wearing whatever you feel the occasion calls for.Utterly recommended.

Great place for authentic Spanish tapas! The staff were all very helpful, efficient, and polite. The food quality was also great, especially the paella and the grilled octopus!

Reserved through Restaurant Week for a weekday night. The dinner was extraordinary and I could tell from the taste that they used fine ingredients. Liked the layers and sequences of tastes. Can’t wait to visit this restaurant again!

A super charming place with super friendly staff and great food and drinks. The Sunday brunch menu is impressive in terms of volume (9 courses!) and quality. Every dish was delicious. A great place to get a group together and chat over a meal that can easily last 2-3 hours.

One of old Spanish restaurants in Hong Kong at the fringe of prime Central. Food was generally better before than it was now. The lobster paella cost HK$110 more but the lobster was small & dry, not tasted fresh & certainly not worth the extra money. Overall not impressive but not cheap.

Found a nice hole-in-the-wall Spanish place in HK! The price for the set lunch was fairly reasonable. You must order the Traditional 5 hour boiled soup, the Lamb, the Fried Milk With Toffee Reduction and the Pear Confit. Those were the stand outs of our meal. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family.

I went there on a wed. Full house. Whole experience including service, atmosphere, food and pricing were good. Probably the best Spanish restaurant in HK.

This Hong Kong Spanish restaurant is truly the best in town. One of my favorite dining spots. Each dish suits my palate perfectly, with rich flavors that never feel overwhelming. The service is also a perfect , the staff are so friendly and attentive. The ambience is lovely too, with the restaurant offering two distinct seating areas. The table by the door feels quite different from the interior, both in terms of lighting and atmosphere. And they even have live music performances. The $498 weekend brunch menu seems to change with the seasons, and the dishes I had were from the winter menu in March, so it may have changed by now.Standout items included the octopus, spider crab toast, garlic prawns, seafood paella, and almond cake with ice cream.

I came for a weekend lunch and had a perfect experience. Was recommended by a friend to come try, saying the food is delicious. And they were right, but also the place and service is top too. The restaurant has a rustic vibe that keeps the experience low-key, like dining at friends home, ie comfortable. Will definitely be back to try again. The price is a little high, recommended for a birthday or some celebration, for small to medium groups. For food, try the octopus main dish, is well cooked and tasty!

Every dish we had at OLE was phenomenal - can’t believe I haven’t visited this gem sooner . Service was attentive and the sangria was amazing. 100% recommend the suckling pig (which was unbelievably tender and juicy) and the chorizo paella - I’m quite a skeptic when it comes to paella but theirs was spot on. There was live music towards the end of the evening and overall a 10/10 meal worth every single penny.

This Spanish restaurant was definitely an unforgettable dining experience. I have always dreamed of personally tasting the authentic Spanish flavors of this restaurant, and this time my wish has been fulfilled.First of all, the decoration of the restaurant is very sophisticated, blending traditional Spanish style design, giving a sense of elegance and grace. There is also soothing music accompaniment, including violin performances, which adds a lot of charm to the dining atmosphere. As for the food, every tapas dish is very authentic, allowing me to truly experience the genuine Spanish flavors. However, my favorite is still the roast suckling pig, with its tender and juicy meat that is simply unforgettable. Overall, I really had a great time celebrating my birthday here. The only slight disappointment was that the table spacing in the dining area was a bit narrow, causing some inconvenience during the meal. However, compared to the overall outstanding experience, this small flaw is really negligible.I wholeheartedly recommend everyone to try this Spanish restaurant. I'm sure you will be conquered by its excellent cuisine and romantic ambience, just like I was.

Great food. All very flavourful esp the suckling pig; the meat waa well marinated with I guess chicken soup and very tender. The starters were fine as well; bread was crispy! I asked for butter and it was nice. The octopus-potato thingy was also yum; chewy. For desserts I usually don’t like churro because it is too starchy! But theirs are thinly made and the chocolate dip tasted authentic and not too sweet. I liked their sweet pear plus ice cream too. Service and ambience was nice. Highly satisfactory for its price.

Ole Restaurant in central Hong Kong is a must-visit for anyone looking for a unique and memorable dining experience. The themed interior is truly impressive, transporting you to another world as soon as you step inside. But what sets Ole apart is their exceptional service – from the moment you arrive, the staff go above and beyond to ensure you have a fantastic meal. Whether you're in the mood for classic Spanish dishes or more contemporary creations, the food is always top-notch. Don't miss the chance to visit Ole Restaurant – it's a must visit if you’re into brunches and free flow.

Best Spanish cuisine of the town, the food is always up to the standard if not more. Came here for New Year’s Day Brunch and the service was amazing. Despite having to work New Year’s Day we were received by smile and kindness all around. Special shout out to Mahindra, his interpersonal and considerable service alone makes me want to come back. Thank you Olè!

Nice place, with nice food. I like the entry potato and the churros! Ordered octopus but think it is kind of so so. Maybe I prefer chewy octopus than tender one.

𝙊𝙡𝙚, the Spanish restaurant is one of my favourite place to celebrate birthdays and special occasions! Approaching to their 26th year in Hong Kong, a time-limited spring menu is newly launched! Including game dishes, the menu showed references from the spanish tradition of big game hunting Monterías. It truly reflects the culture from Spanish owner, Mr Carmelo Lopez’s home country. Live music from amazing guitarist and singers also sets the great vibes here.꙳ ⋆ 𓈒𓏸 香煎帶子配亞枝竹及防風草香滑薯蓉Vieiras con AlcahofasScallops, artichokes, mashed parsnip & potatoA generous dish with 4-5 sweet scallops seared in golden brown color! My first time enjoying fried artichokes and it was interestingly good, tasted like chips! With parsnips added, the Parmentier is lighter in weight but remained silky smooth. A drizzle of truffle oil was just on point!꙳ ⋆ 𓈒𓏸 鷓鴣肉鵝肝Canelon 麵卷配奶油忌廉汁Golden Canelon Partridge, Porcini Mushrooms, Foie Gras & Truffle BéchamelIt is my favourite from the menu! Wrapped inside a Canelon, the unique and strong flavour from the shredded partridge meat was in great harmony with the mushroom and truffles, and creamy texture was great too!꙳ ⋆ 𓈒𓏸 香煎鹿鞍扒配栗子野菌Venison Stew with Chestnuts and Wild MushroomsReally rare winter dish to be found in HK! After pan-searing, the venison is still tender and juicy, stewed and served piping hot in the cast iron pot. The sauce permeates with the sweetness from pearl onions, chestnuts, and fragrance from red wine.꙳ ⋆ 𓈒𓏸 香煎法國Challans鴨胸配西班牙血腸椰菜雲吞Challans Duck Breast with Black Pudding and Apple Cabbage Raviolis & Port ReductionOn top of being visually appealing, it also tasted wonderfully with the top-notch Challans duck breast! Cooked perfectly pinkish in the core, the succulent meat goes well with the reduction from port wine and balsamic vinegar. Wrapped in cabbage as ravioli, freshness of apples goes well with the spices from the blood pudding!꙳ ⋆ 𓈒𓏸 蒜蓉橄欖油海蝦Garlic Shrimp "Gambas al Ajillo"Golden garlic slices and crispy shrimp infused all the flavours into the olive oil, make sure you dip your bread in the flavourful oil!꙳ ⋆ 𓈒𓏸紅酒砵酒慢煮啤梨Pear Confit in Red & Port WineTexture was soft but a bit of the crunchiness, still remained from the pear!꙳ ⋆ 𓈒𓏸西班牙油條伴熱朱古力醬Spanish Churros with Hot ChocolateCoated with right amount of sugar, the churros are always one of the best Spanish dessert!

Had a great experience at Ole. We went on a Saturday night - the restaurant was fully booked and it has a lively wholesome atmosphere with live guitar music accompanying your meal. Food was generally excellent, tha tapas were particularly delicious, we ordered a veggie paella which was a little bland, but the desserts really sealed the deal! Great evening, highly recommended!

A Hidden Gem: Ole Spanish RestaurantWhat an incredible find! I can't believe I’ve missed Ole Spanish Restaurant all these years. A true institution in Hong Kong for nearly 26 years, Ole feels like a journey to another world the moment you step through its beautiful door.I had the pleasure of visiting with three friends, which allowed us to sample a wide range of dishes. The standout was undoubtedly the Iberico pork, chorizo, and mushroom paella – some of the best paella I've ever tasted. The waiter even helped us scrape off the crispy rice bits from the hot pan, which added an extra touch to the experience. The desserts were equally delightful. We shared the churros with hot chocolate, crème brûlée, and fried milk – each one a perfect ending to a fantastic meal. The cost came to HKD 358 per person.
